Extra chance to have say on new political map of Camden

1st October 2019

Residents across Camden will get the chance to have another say on new council ward boundaries in a public consultation that opens today.

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission is asking for comments on its new draft recommendations for council ward boundaries for the whole borough.

The Commission originally published draft proposals for new ward boundaries in May. After listening to local feedback, it has made substantial changes to the recommendations and is now asking local people to have their say on revised plans.

The Commission’s plans would mean changes to previously proposed wards in the Camden Town and Primrose Hill, Dartmouth Park and Highgate, Hampstead and Gospel Oak and Frognal and Belsize areas as well as other minor changes across the borough.

The new plans would mean changes to every existing council ward with the exception of Regent’s Park.
